Care Guide

Attipas baby shoes are great to slip on around the house and to play outside. They provide the comfort of socks plus the durability of a pair of shoes. Just as with any similar footwear, Attipas baby slippers need regular cleaning. Washing them properly will help you extend the life of your little one's comfy footwear.

Machine wash

The upper part of Attipas shoes is made of cotton, which makes them washing-machine-safe. Use warm water (up to 30° C) to make sure you don’t shrink the shoes and use a gentle cycle to prevent pulling them out of shape.

We recommend you use a “Hand Wash” programme with a mesh laundry bag such as you would use for wool or delicates. You can use a low heat setting to dry the shoes or ideally allow them to air dry.

Hand wash

If you don’t want to risk machine washing your Attipas shoes, you can hand wash them. Use warm water (up to 30° C) with a small dose of a mild laundry detergent and allow shoes to soak for a few minutes, then gently scrub them with a soft cloth or your fingers in order to penetrate the fabric and remove stains. After that, give the little shoes a thorough rinse to get excess soap out.

Don’t wring the slippers, because this can twist them out of shape. It’s a good idea to air-dry the shoes, by putting them in a warm place or underneath a table, chair or stairway to avoid direct sunlight. If you want to speed up drying time, you can leave them to dry in front of an open window, AC unit or near a fan.
